Daydreams of Quilts

Toque Eh Quilted Pillow Cover Pattern

Regular price $5.00
A digital PDF pattern for a winter hat 16 inch quilted pillow cover. This "Toque, Eh?" pattern first appeared in the June 2017 issue of "Quilter's Connection Magazine." In Canada we call a knitted winter cap a "toque". (Pronounced Took - rhymes with "juke".)

This pattern uses two drunkard's path blocks to make the main body of the hat and simple piecing to create the ribbed band of the hat.

This pattern could also be used as a quilt block to create a whole quilt of toques.

The PDF file is seven pages and includes the drunkard's path templates and computer diagrams along with written instructions. There is also a link to a YouTube video showing how I sew curved seams.

The finished pillow cover size is 16".

Fabric requirements:
1 fat quarter of white solid
1 fat quarter of red solid
